Remember these two cuties?   Just six months ago Ethan & Noah could been seen looking like this.

And now, Misters Ethan, rocking the green dino overalls here, and Noah, with the anchors (his parents kindly told me to "think of Noah on the arc" to help save my sanity during the shoot!) are 6 months cuter, gigglier, chunkier and more adored by mommy & daddy.

Watching the brothers interact was pretty entertaining, and quite sweet. Their dad told me that for a long time, he would just find them holding hands.  Apparently they don't do it as much lately, but they were happy to indulge us when we asked really nicely.

My morning with this family was a pretty big bundle of sweetness, interspersed with one bottle, a few mini naps, a whole ton of giggles, and lots of baby airplanes.

I love this last shot of them, and I imagine Ethan saying, "Noah!  What was your favorite part of the shoot?  Wait, never mind, I think I'm going to teethe on your face!"

Baby Robin was not just slightly offended by cake, she was horribly, achingly, devastatingly saddened (in the cutest, most over-the-top way) by the beautiful cake intended all for her.....but first, let me back up to the many magical moments at the start of her 1st birthday session.....

The Darling Miss Hadley!||Boston Baby Photography

Meet Hadley! Her parents have been blessed with six months of amazing cuteness:

Hadley is a huge fan of her fingers, her toes, her pink kitty, and songs about ducks.

Naturally, Hadley's doting mommy and daddy can't get enough snuggles and giggles in with her.  And Hadley's dad has the most permanent document of his love for her -  literally.

Hadley, her footprints and her birth date, all inked onto Daddy. How gorgeous and sweet is that tattoo?

This sweet girl also has a few fur siblings, Slice, the cat (not cooperative) and pooch Cece.

Hadley and Cece are still really figuring out their relationship. Such a lovely afternoon with this little sweetie and her family.

Six Weeks of Owen||Boston newborn photographer travels

Meet Owen: This little darling happens to be a San Francisco native, and I happen to be the lucky photographer that traveled there to photograph him.  At six weeks, Owen was a tad bit older than most of my newborn subjects, but it was a glorious time to capture him!  He'd just begun his social smiling, and cooing at him until a smile was coaxed out resulted in just about the best reward ever.

Being around for a few days resulted in a wider array of photos than is possible during a standard session.  I was able to capture a more comprehensive set of Owen moments, including the cuteness that was his bath time:

It was quite a treat to watch his mommy, a dear friend of mine, as she settled into motherhood.  Her giant love for her tiny boy radiated off her, making her more beautiful than ever.

Owen's daddy was similarly smitten with his son...

We went to the beautiful area around Fort Mason, in order to capture family photos where Owen's parents got engaged.

While Owen was in the middle of his snack break near Fort Mason, a ladybug came to visit. A most auspicious bit of serendipity indeed.I have so much love and happiness for this amazing trio!  Owen is so lucky to be born to such vibrant, loving parents, and I know his parents feel beyond blessed to have this perfect little boy as their son.
