Samuel

Samuel was such an easy-going babe to photograph.  He was oh-so-cute, very sleepy, and flat-out rocked the various hats we tried on him.  Not only did he make my job easy, but I would say that he was having quite a bit of fun himself.  Many thank yous to Samuel and his lovely family - I had such a great time getting to know them all, including Aria, the family pooch :-)

Hazel

Ah, little Hazel!  She made her momma and I *seriously* work for her shoot, but I have to say, she gave us such adorable and sweet faces and poses that it (the hours of awaked-ness and fussing) was totally worth it!  Really, she just wanted to call the shots.  Once we caught on and turned her very good-natured momma into the backdrop (by covering said patient momma with the fuzzy fabric) Hazel was perfectly happy to be photographed.  See?  Sigh.  What a cutie pie.

Eleanor

Photographing sweet baby Eleanor was such a lovely experience.  Not only is she downright precious, we had the most perfect summer weather so her session was held outdoors.  Keeping us company was her adorable - and adoring (for a few moments here and there)- older brother, her lovely mom, and her energetic dog.  I had such a great time hanging out with her and her family!

Wesley

Wesley was so much fun to photograph - I especially couldn't get over the awesomeness of his hair!  I just find it ridiculously cute :-)  He slept nice and cozy in the vintage suitcase I brought over, and was quite cooperative the whole time.  And such a sweet looking little angel, sleeping so peacefully.....

Vivian

I was lucky enough to run into Vivian's mom at the Little Fox Shop in East Arlington.  Lucky, because not only did I then get to take photos of darling Vivian, but her mom introduced me to two other moms with newborns, whom I also had the opportunity to photograph! Vivian, whom I photographed at five weeks, was very awake for most of our shoot.  Not a problem, though, because man!  Look at those gorgeous eyes!  She was so much fun to photograph wide awake, and that's all I thought I was going to get..... until I began to pack up, and then she finally decided to take a snooze.  Just as adorable asleep, wouldn't you say?

Eloise

Ahhhh, my first baby!  Eh-hem.  I mean, my first baby to photograph for Willow Baby Studios.  The lovely Miss Eloise, daughter of my dear friend Debra, came over and slept away while I photographed her on our bed in our San Francisco apartment.  I had no props, no backgrounds, no hats - nothing but my trusty camera.  Didn't matter.  Eloise was perfect as can be in even the most ad-hoc photo studio, and lucky for me, her brilliant mom thought to bring the adorable hat she's wearing in the photo above. Thank you, Debra & Devin, for bringing forth such a gorgeous first subject for me!
