Last weekend I had a lovely morning shoot with the very smiley Annabel! She showed off her extensive talents at toe grabbing, tasting and hand eating, all while grinning with the most contagious smile! She also sits in a bucket like a champ! I met sweet Camila at 16 days old - a gorgeous new person, lighting up her mom and dad's world. There was so much sweetness between the three of them, and I felt very honored to be privy to - and documenting - the beginning of their life as a family together. Congratulations, D & J! You three are a beautiful family.

Baby Rohan! 11 days old and such an amazingly gorgeous little boy! I know using the word "handsome" would, perhaps, be more acceptable, but this little guy is, straight up, a beautiful baby! The color of his skin, the serenity in his face... what a joy to photograph him, and spend a beautiful fall morning with his parents.

It was with so much joy that I went to San Francisco to photograph eleven week old Louis, beloved miracle baby to my dear friends, Dave & Shelley. Louis had been longed for, dreamed about and attempted at for over three long years. And, just as Dave & Shelley thought they would have to grow their family through another way, this little boy made his appearance in their world. His in utero growth was closely watched over by his parents and doctors, followed by Aunties and Uncles to be, grandparents and friends, and finally finally finally brought forth this adorable wonder, Louis Fitzgerald. Little Louis is so sweet, with such a beaming smile! Seeing Dave play with him in the evenings, cooing and giggling, watching Shelley sleepily nurse him in the early hours, murmuring soft words of love, was truly such a joy.
I am so happy for you three! You are a most amazing little family!

I'm pleased to announce the smallest, newest little subject at Willow Baby Studios, 14-day old Max. This sweet little guy was a regular Houdini, busting out of all his swaddles with his wrinkly little arms and legs.

But once coaxed into sleep his cuteness - and stunning red hair! - made my job easy....
He slept through a good snuggle with his blue teddy, a gift his dad, Mike, bought for him before he was born.
I love seeing how happy and adoring new parents are. Mike and Liz were so super sweet and natural with Cole.

I recently had the honor of spending the afternoon with this new family, and greatly enjoyed their beautiful house, the relaxed atmosphere (no easy feat for new parents!), and, of course, this adorable little guy:

While Jesse wasn't impressed by the ridiculous jokes that Jenny and I told to relax him during the Father-Baby session, he was clearly quite at ease having a quiet moment with his son.
Sweet Nicholas slept quite well on this beautiful chair. If it were a little smaller, I probably would have tried to sneak it into my prop basket to take home with me!
He may have made us work a bit to get him sleeping at first, but he kept at it like a real champ once he was out. And even permitted some hat shots.

Hey World, you ready for this little lady? Good! I'd like to introduce Colleen and Aaron's gorgeous little girl, Charlotte Grace. She is a beauty!
I had a wonderful time meeting darling little Charlotte, and at five weeks old, she was still an *expert* sleeper! She snoozed away while we admired her, and let me put her in numerous poses. Sometimes she slept straight through, and other times she made a slight little peep, stirred, then conked back out. Not only that, she officially holds the "No Pees or Poos on the Props" Record! She was quite the model!
