My dearest L-Belle,
We met during the days of art school - a time of creating all night and then sleeping in weird places at weird times. (The darkroom. Some random floor after a party. Piled into a small bed with three other friends). I can still vividly remember brand-new-adult you: sassy, hilarious, creative....

And now there is the you of today, still all of those things (well, slightly less sass, I'd say) and also so wise and resilient. You momma like a champ and have an extraordinary amount of patience and understanding. Your boys are very lucky indeed.

So, thank you my dear friend, for not only continuing to be awesome, but for growing even more awesome. Thank you for the numerous times you have saved my website from all sorts of horrible fates. And thank you for the quiet beauty you add to my life, and undoubtedly many others as well.
